Job Summary
The HR Executive will manage and support core HR operations across the hotel and restaurant portfolio, covering recruitment, onboarding, payroll, employee relations, attendance, leave, benefits, HR administration, and compliance. The role will ensure accurate employee records, smooth HR processes, employee engagement, and compliance with company policies and local labor regulations.
Roles & Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer management.
Conduct employee onboarding, orientation, and probationary evaluations.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel files, contracts, visas, certifications, and HR documentation.
Manage attendance, working hours, overtime, absenteeism, leave, and holiday records.
Prepare and process monthly payroll, including timesheets, leave records, overtime, and other payroll inputs.
Administer employee benefits such as insurance and end-of-service benefits.
Handle employee grievances and concerns professionally, confidentially, and in accordance with company policies.
Support performance management, appraisals, goal setting, and Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs).
Drive employee engagement initiatives, staff events, recognition programs, and employee welfare activities.
Manage staff accommodation allocation, move-in/move-out procedures, maintenance coordination, and related issues.
Coordinate employee air-ticket bookings for business travel, annual leave, and repatriation.
Ensure compliance with local labor laws, immigration regulations, and company policies.
Prepare HR reports covering headcount, turnover, attendance, leave, and other key HR metrics.
Partner with department heads on HR-related operational matters and support the implementation of HR policies and strategies.
Mandatory Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of progressive HR Generalist/HR Executive experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience in the hospitality industry, preferably hotels and/or premium restaurants.
Proven experience in recruitment, payroll processing, employee relations, and full employee lifecycle management.
Hands-on experience with HRIS, payroll systems, and time & attendance software.
Strong understanding of local labor laws, immigration regulations, HR policies, and compliance requirements.
Professional HR certification such as CIPD, SHRM-CP, or HRCI will be an advantage.
