Job Summary
We are seeking a CSSD Technician responsible for the cleaning, decontamination, preparation, sterilization, storage, and distribution of surgical instruments and medical equipment. The candidate should have relevant CSSD training, knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures, and certification in decontamination and sterilization.
Roles & Responsibilities
Receive, sort, clean, and decontaminate used surgical instruments and medical equipment.
Inspect, assemble, prepare, pack, and label instruments for sterilization.
Operate sterilization equipment according to established procedures.
Perform appropriate sterilization and disinfection processes.
Check sterilization indicators and ensure proper sterilization records are maintained.
Safely handle and store sterile instruments and supplies.
Prepare and distribute sterile sets and equipment to operating rooms and clinical departments.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of CSSD work areas.
Follow infection-control, hygiene, safety, and sterilization standards.
Identify damaged or defective instruments and report them appropriately.
Maintain accurate documentation of decontamination, sterilization, and distribution activities.
Coordinate with operating room, nursing, and clinical teams to ensure timely availability of sterile supplies.
Mandatory Requirements
Basic knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures.
Decontamination and Sterilization Certification Program.
2–3 years of relevant CSSD experience.
Good knowledge of cleaning, disinfection, sterilization, instrument handling, and infection-control practices.
Nationality Preferred: East European.
