Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer – Civil/Structural Design with 10+ years of design engineering experience, preferably within refinery and petrochemical projects. The candidate should have a strong civil/structural design background and proven knowledge of Saudi Aramco engineering standards, including SAEP, SAMS and SAES.
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate civil and structural design engineering activities for refinery and petrochemical projects.
Develop, review, and approve civil/structural engineering deliverables, drawings, calculations, specifications, and design documents.
Perform and review structural design calculations for industrial facilities, structures, foundations, and associated infrastructure.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure design integration and project requirements are met.
Ensure all designs comply with applicable Saudi Aramco standards, project specifications, codes, and HSE requirements.
Review engineering drawings and technical documents for accuracy, constructability, and compliance.
Identify design issues and provide effective engineering solutions during project execution.
Coordinate with construction, procurement, vendors, and other stakeholders on technical/design matters.
Monitor design progress, deliverables, and technical requirements to support timely project completion.
Participate in technical meetings, design reviews, and resolution of engineering queries.
Mandatory Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in civil/structural design projects.
Strong design engineering background in refinery and petrochemical projects.
Proven experience in oil & gas / refinery / petrochemical project environments.
Recent experience involving Saudi Aramco standards is mandatory.
Strong working knowledge of SAEP, SAMS and SAES.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary project environment.
