Job Summary
The Factory Maintenance & Administration Executive will manage day-to-day factory maintenance, facilities, transport, procurement, vendor coordination, and administrative operations. The role will coordinate with internal departments and external service providers to ensure smooth, safe, and uninterrupted factory operations.
Roles & Responsibilities
Manage daily factory maintenance and facility management activities.
Coordinate electrical, plumbing, civil, lighting, AC, water supply, DG/UPS, and other facility requirements.
Plan and monitor preventive and breakdown maintenance and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Identify maintenance requirements and coordinate procurement of materials, tools, spare parts, equipment, and consumables.
Maintain records of maintenance activities, assets, tools, consumables, AMC, and service schedules.
Coordinate employee/factory transportation, including vendor and driver schedules, routes, vehicle availability, and service requirements.
Monitor transportation issues and ensure smooth and timely transport operations.
Coordinate with Production, HR, Finance, Purchase, Stores, Security, and other departments.
Manage housekeeping, sanitation, waste management, and overall factory cleanliness.
Coordinate with electricians, plumbers, technicians, contractors, security, housekeeping, transport vendors, and other service providers.
Monitor electricity and water consumption and support cost-control initiatives.
Support factory safety, fire-safety, and statutory requirements.
Maintain documentation and prepare maintenance, transport, procurement, and administration reports.
Handle additional factory administration and facility-related responsibilities assigned by management.
Mandatory Requirements
Education: Graduate / Diploma / ITI in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Facilities Management, or a related field.
Experience: 2–5 years in factory maintenance, facility management, administration, or a similar role.
Manufacturing/garment industry experience is preferred.
Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, civil works, utilities, and general maintenance.
Experience in maintenance procurement and vendor management.
Good coordination skills with transport vendors, contractors, and internal departments.
Strong follow-up, problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
Good working knowledge of MS Excel and basic computer applications.
Hands-on, proactive, organized, and capable of independently managing multiple factory requirements.
