Plant Operator (Ready Mix)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Plant Operator with 2–6 years of relevant experience in the Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) industry. The candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring the batching plant, ensuring accurate concrete production as per mix designs, maintaining equipment, and supporting safe and efficient plant operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the RMC batching plant and associated control systems.

• Produce concrete as per approved mix designs, grades, and production schedules.

• Control and monitor the accurate batching of cement, aggregates, water, and admixtures.

• Check plant equipment, conveyors, mixers, silos, hoppers, and related systems before and during operations.

• Monitor production parameters and identify equipment or operational abnormalities.

• Coordinate with the Quality Control team, laboratory, dispatchers, drivers, and site teams for smooth concrete production and delivery.

• Maintain accurate production records, batch reports, material consumption, and equipment logs.

• Perform basic troubleshooting and report major breakdowns or maintenance requirements promptly.

• Ensure proper housekeeping and cleanliness of the plant and surrounding work areas.

• Follow company procedures, quality standards, and HSE/safety requirements at all times.

Mandatory Requirements

• 2–6 years of experience as a Plant Operator in the Ready-Mix Concrete industry.

• Hands-on experience operating concrete batching/RMC plants.

• Knowledge of concrete batching, mix designs, raw materials, and production processes.

• Familiarity with plant control panels and automated/manual batching systems.

• Basic understanding of equipment troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

• Ability to maintain production records and follow operational instructions.

• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and production targets.

• Physically fit and willing to work in a plant environment and shifts as required.
