Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior HSE Supervisor (Safety Officer) with 10+ years of experience in project execution, preferably within refinery and petrochemical projects. The candidate will be responsible for implementing HSE procedures, monitoring site safety, ensuring regulatory and Saudi Aramco standards compliance, and promoting a strong safety culture across project activities.
Roles & Responsibilities
Supervise and implement HSE policies, procedures, and safety programs across project execution activities.
Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco HSE standards, project requirements, and applicable safety regulations.
Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, toolbox talks, and safety observations.
Identify hazards, assess risks, and implement appropriate control and mitigation measures.
Monitor high-risk activities including work at height, lifting operations, hot work, confined space, excavation, and electrical activities.
Ensure compliance with Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems and safe work procedures.
Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
Coordinate with construction, engineering, subcontractor, and client teams on HSE matters.
Conduct safety inductions, training, toolbox meetings, and emergency response drills.
Monitor PPE compliance, housekeeping, access/egress, and overall site safety conditions.
Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, incident reports, and safety statistics.
Support emergency preparedness and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
Mandatory Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant discipline.
Minimum 10+ years of HSE/Safety experience in project execution.
Strong experience in refinery and petrochemical projects.
Proven experience working with Saudi Aramco standards and HSE requirements – Mandatory.
NEBOSH Certified – Mandatory.
IOSH Certified – Mandatory.
Strong knowledge of industrial construction/project safety practices.
