Assistant Restaurant Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the Restaurant Manager in managing daily operations, supervising the team, maintaining service and food-quality standards, and ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing day-to-day restaurant operations.

• Supervise, guide, and coordinate staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.

• Monitor customer service and resolve guest complaints professionally.

• Coordinate between kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure timely order and service delivery.

• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, cleanliness, and quality standards.

• Monitor inventory, stock levels, wastage, and operational costs.

• Support staff scheduling, training, and performance monitoring.

• Assist in achieving sales, revenue, and operational targets.

• Handle shift opening/closing activities and maintain daily operational records.

• Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, and statutory requirements.

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

• Relevant experience in restaurant, QSR, café, or hospitality operations.

• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.

• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, customer service, food safety, and hygiene.

• Excellent team-handling, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in shifts and manage operations in a fast-paced environment.
