Job Summary
The Senior Engineer – Electrical Maintenance is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing electrical maintenance activities to ensure the reliable and efficient operation of electrical systems and equipment. The role involves troubleshooting electrical faults, PLC-based control systems, relay logic circuits, preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
Roles & Responsibilities
Plan and supervise preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for electrical systems and equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in motors, drives, switchgear, control panels, and PLC systems.
Perform PLC troubleshooting, programming modifications, and system diagnostics.
Monitor and maintain electrical relay logic circuits and control systems.
Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime and improve reliability.
Analyze equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
Review electrical drawings, control schematics, and technical documentation.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, electrical standards, and company procedures.
Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure smooth plant operations.
Maintain maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
Support commissioning, testing, and improvement projects.
Provide technical guidance to technicians and junior engineers.
Mandatory Requirements
Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, EEE, or ECE.
Minimum 3–6 years of experience in Electrical Maintenance.
Hands-on experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of electrical relay logic and control systems.
Experience with industrial electrical equipment, motors, drives, and switchgear.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
