Mason (Ready Mix)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Mason with hands-on experience in the ready-mix concrete industry. The candidate will be responsible for masonry, concrete-related works, surface preparation, finishing, repair, and ensuring that all assigned work is completed safely, accurately, and as per required quality standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform masonry, brickwork, blockwork, plastering, and concrete-related activities.

• Handle and work with ready-mix concrete for foundations, slabs, walls, columns, flooring, and other structures.

• Carry out concrete placing, leveling, spreading, compacting, and finishing as required.

• Prepare surfaces, mix/handle materials, and ensure proper alignment, levels, and dimensions.

• Execute repair, patching, grouting, and finishing works as required.

• Read and follow basic drawings, measurements, specifications, and site instructions.

• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other construction workers to complete assigned tasks.

• Maintain proper use and care of tools, equipment, and materials.

• Follow all site safety procedures, PPE requirements, and quality standards.

• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping at the work area.

Mandatory Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mason, preferably in ready-mix concrete/construction projects.

• Hands-on knowledge of concrete handling, placement, leveling, and finishing.

• Ability to perform physically demanding site work and work for extended periods.

• Basic understanding of measurements, levels, and construction practices.

• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

• Knowledge of workplace safety practices and proper PPE usage.
