Costing Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Costing Engineer with minimum 3 years of experience in cost estimation or a similar field. The role will be responsible for product costing, estimation, quotation support, cost analysis, BOM and process review, and identifying opportunities for value engineering and cost reduction.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare product cost estimates based on BOM, drawings, processes, materials, labor, and other relevant cost elements.

• Analyze product and manufacturing costs to support pricing and quotation activities.

• Provide costing inputs and commercial support for new and existing products.

• Review BOMs, manufacturing processes, material requirements, and specifications for accurate cost estimation.

• Conduct cost analysis and identify cost variances and improvement opportunities.

• Support value engineering and cost reduction initiatives.

• Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Procurement, and other teams to validate costing assumptions.

• Maintain accurate costing data, estimation sheets, and quotation-related documentation.

• Support management with cost insights for pricing and business decisions.

Mandatory Requirements

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Engineering or a relevant discipline.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Cost Estimation, Costing Engineering, or a similar role.

• Strong understanding of product costing and estimation.

• Experience in quotation support and cost analysis.

• Ability to review BOMs and manufacturing processes.

• Good analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail.

• Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
