Job Summary
The QC Rotating Inspector is responsible for inspection and quality control of rotating equipment to ensure proper installation, alignment, and operational readiness in oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, and pipeline projects.
Roles & Responsibilities
Inspect rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, motors, and generators
Verify installation, alignment, and assembly as per project specifications
Monitor inspection and testing activities according to ITPs
Coordinate and verify NDT activities where applicable
Review technical drawings, procedures, and inspection documentation
Ensure compliance with international codes and client requirements
Identify non-conformities and ensure corrective actions
Prepare inspection reports and maintain QA/QC records
Mandatory Requirements
B.S. Degree in Engineering with minimum 5 years of relevant inspection experience
OR Industrial/Technical Diploma with minimum 8–10 years of relevant inspection experience in oil & gas / refinery / petrochemical / pipeline projects
Demonstrated experience in design and operation of rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, generators, motors)
Knowledge of NDT methods: MT, PT, UT, VT, and RTFI
Good knowledge of API 686 and applicable international standards
Working knowledge of quality system standards and inspection procedures
Valid driving license (Mandatory)
