Job Summary
Responsible for managing core accounting, taxation, audit coordination, ERP operations, and financial reporting for the organization.
Ensure accurate financial records, statutory compliance, and timely reporting in line with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Support the finance team by handling MIS reporting, reconciliations, and financial analysis to assist management in decision-making.
Roles and Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day accounting entries, general ledger, and bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing vendor invoices and PO matching.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities including accruals, provisions, and prepayments.
Maintain fixed assets register and calculate depreciation as per Companies Act and Income Tax Act.
Handle GST compliance, including preparation and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and GSTR-9, and reconcile input tax credit.
Compute and deduct TDS, ensure timely payments, and file quarterly returns (Form 24Q / 26Q).
Assist in advance tax computation, income tax provisions, and deferred tax calculations.
Support tax audit preparation and respond to queries from tax authorities and auditors.
Coordinate with statutory, internal, and tax auditors, and prepare audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents.
Address audit observations and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
Maintain a compliance calendar and ensure timely statutory payments including PF, ESI, PT, TDS, and GST.
Operate ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Tally for financial transactions and reporting.
Process vendor payments, cost centre entries, and intercompany transactions through ERP systems.
Generate financial reports from ERP systems and extract data for analysis, reporting, and audits.
Prepare monthly MIS reports, budget vs actual analysis, cash flow statements, and variance reports for management.
Develop and maintain Excel-based financial dashboards and management reports using advanced Excel functions.
Provide financial data, reports, and analysis as required by the Finance Manager and leadership team.
Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of financial processes and statutory deadlines.
Mandatory Requirements
Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter / CMA Inter.
Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting (IT / Software industry preferred).
Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards (Ind AS / GAAP) and financial reporting.
Experience in accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and reconciliation processes.
Hands-on experience in GST filing, TDS compliance, and taxation procedures.
Experience in audit coordination including statutory, internal, and tax audits.
Working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle Financials, or Tally.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel including formulas, pivot tables, and financial dashboards.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple financial deadlines.
Good communication and coordination skills with auditors, vendors, and management teams.
