Job Summary
The Assistant Front Office Manager will support the overall management of Front Office operations, ensuring smooth guest check-in and check-out, excellent guest service, effective team coordination, and adherence to resort standards. The role will assist in managing daily front office activities and resolving guest concerns while maintaining operational efficiency in a remote resort environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
Assist in managing daily Front Office operations and ensure smooth functioning of the department.
Supervise and coordinate Front Office team members during shifts and ensure proper task allocation.
Ensure efficient check-in, check-out, room allocation, reservations, and guest requests.
Maintain high standards of guest service and promptly handle complaints and service recovery.
Coordinate with Housekeeping, F&B, Maintenance, and other departments for smooth guest operations.
Monitor guest arrivals, departures, VIP guests, special requests, and room status.
Support preparation of duty rosters, shift schedules, reports, and Front Office records.
Ensure accurate handling of guest accounts, payments, billing, and required documentation.
Train, guide, and motivate Front Office staff to maintain service standards.
Ensure compliance with resort policies, operational procedures, and guest-service standards.
Assist the Front Office Manager/Operations team in addressing operational issues and improving guest satisfaction.
Maintain effective communication between Front Office, management, and other operational departments.
Mandatory Requirements
Minimum 4–5 years of professional experience in the same position or equivalent Front Office supervisory/management role.
Proven experience in hotel/resort Front Office operations.
Strong guest-service and team-management experience.
Good English communication skills.
Willingness and ability to work in a remote resort environment.
Candidate must be above 21 years of age.
Valid passport with minimum 7 months validity at the time of visa processing.
Valid Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) to be submitted and verified before the interview.
Relevant employment/experience certificates and employment verification details from previous employers must be available.
