Associate - Food & Beverage

Job Summary

We are looking for a professional and customer-focused Food & Beverage Associate to support the smooth functioning of restaurant and food & beverage operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in guest service, order taking, food and beverage service, table setup, and maintaining hygiene and service standards. The candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service while ensuring efficient and timely restaurant operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests in a courteous and professional manner.

• Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen/bar team.

• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining proper service standards.

• Set up and clear tables, ensuring the restaurant and dining areas are clean and well-presented.

• Assist guests with menu selections, product information, and special requests.

• Ensure timely coordination between the kitchen, service team, and other departments.

• Handle customer queries and complaints professionally and escalate issues when required.

• Maintain proper knowledge of menu items, ingredients, promotions, and pricing.

• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and company SOPs.

• Monitor table requirements and replenish cutlery, crockery, condiments, and other service items.

• Assist with billing and payment procedures where required.

• Support restaurant operations during peak hours, events, and special functions.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, equipment, and workstations.

• Assist the Restaurant Manager and supervisors with daily operational requirements.

• Contribute to maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Mandatory Requirements

• 3–4 years of relevant experience in F&B, restaurant, hotel, café, or hospitality operations.

• Previous experience in a customer-facing F&B service role is preferred.

• Good knowledge of food and beverage service procedures and restaurant operations.

• Strong customer service and guest-handling skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and service-oriented approach.

• Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
