Permit Issuer / Verifier

Job Summary

We are looking for a Permit Issuer / Verifier responsible for managing and verifying work permits to ensure that site activities are carried out safely and in accordance with approved permit requirements and site procedures. The role requires strong coordination with site teams and the ability to work on a rotational project schedule.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Issue and verify work permits for site activities as per approved procedures.

• Review permit requirements, work scope, hazards, and required controls before authorization.

• Coordinate with supervisors and work teams regarding permit conditions and requirements.

• Verify that necessary safety precautions and controls are in place before work starts.

• Monitor permit compliance during ongoing activities.

• Ensure permits are properly closed upon completion or suspension of work.

• Maintain permit records and related documentation.

• Communicate permit-related requirements clearly to site personnel.

• Support safe and compliant execution of project activities.

Mandatory Requirements

• Diploma in technical field or equivalent.

• Relevant experience as a Permit Issuer / Verifier.

• Oman driving license or any Gulf driving license is mandatory.

• Ability to work on a 2 months on / 15 days unpaid off rotation.

• Willingness to work in a site/project environment.

• Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills.

• Good understanding of work permit requirements and site safety procedures.
