Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Cath Lab Technologist to support cardiologists and the clinical team during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The role involves preparing the Cath Lab, patients, equipment, and assisting with procedures while maintaining patient safety and clinical standards.
Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare the Cath Lab, equipment, instruments, and supplies before procedures.
Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
Assist cardiologists and medical teams during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Operate and monitor Cath Lab equipment according to established protocols.
Assist with cardiac monitoring, imaging, and procedural support.
Maintain sterile techniques and follow infection-control practices.
Ensure availability and proper handling of instruments, devices, and consumables.
Monitor equipment functionality and report technical issues promptly.
Maintain accurate procedure records and patient documentation.
Support emergency procedures and respond appropriately to patient needs.
Coordinate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Follow hospital policies, radiation safety requirements, and patient safety standards.
Mandatory Requirements
Qualification: Certificate or Associate Degree in Cardiovascular Technology.
Experience: 3–5 years of relevant Cath Lab/cardiovascular experience.
Practical knowledge of Cath Lab procedures, equipment, and patient preparation.
Good communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.
