Electrical - Skid-Mounted Equipment

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Inspector to carry out inspection and quality control activities for skid-mounted electrical equipment. The role will ensure that manufacturing, fabrication, and inspection activities comply with approved drawings, project specifications, applicable industry standards, and ISO 9001 requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct electrical inspections of skid-mounted equipment during manufacturing and fabrication stages.

• Verify equipment, components, workmanship, dimensions, and fabrication activities against approved drawings and specifications.

• Review engineering drawings, inspection procedures, specifications, and applicable standards.

• Perform vendor inspections independently with minimal supervision.

• Identify, document, and follow up on quality deviations and non-conformities.

• Ensure inspection activities comply with project requirements and ISO 9001 standards.

• Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, QA/QC teams, and project stakeholders to resolve inspection issues.

• Prepare and maintain inspection reports and quality documentation.

• Support project/client-specific inspection requirements and ensure timely completion of assigned inspections.

Mandatory Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or equivalent.

• Experience: Minimum 6 years of inspection experience in manufacturing plants, including at least 2 years in the relevant electrical commodity/process.

• Good command of English.

• Knowledge of industry standards, specifications, and fabrication methods.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

• Knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements.

• Ability to perform inspections with minimal supervision.

• Must meet additional requirements applicable to the specific electrical inspection discipline.

• QM-01 / QM-02 qualification: Successful completion of the required interview.
