Job Summary

The Waiter/Waitress will be responsible for providing professional and courteous food and beverage service to guests, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining dining area cleanliness and coordinating with kitchen and service teams to ensure efficient restaurant operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Welcome guests, assist with seating and provide menus.

• Explain menu items, daily specials, and available food and beverage options.

• Take accurate orders and communicate them to the kitchen and bar teams.

• Serve food and beverages promptly and according to restaurant service standards.

• Check guest satisfaction and respond professionally to requests or complaints.

• Prepare tables, arrange cutlery, and maintain clean and organized dining areas.

• Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure timely order delivery.

• Process bills and payments accurately, where required.

• Follow food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and personal grooming standards.

• Assist with restaurant opening, closing, and general service duties.

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Waiter/Waitress or in a similar food and beverage service role.

• Previous experience in a hotel, resort, restaurant or hospitality establishment.

• Good English communication and interpersonal skills.

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.

• Strong customer-service orientation and professional appearance.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple guest requests.

• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
