Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Laboratory Technologist to perform laboratory testing and support diagnostic services in a clinical laboratory environment. The role involves specimen handling, laboratory analysis, quality control, accurate reporting, and maintaining safe and efficient laboratory operations.
Roles & Responsibilities
Receive, identify, label, and process patient specimens according to laboratory procedures.
Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests using appropriate methods and equipment.
Prepare samples, reagents, and laboratory materials for testing.
Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
Perform quality control checks and ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
Analyze and document laboratory findings accurately and efficiently.
Identify abnormal or critical results and follow established reporting procedures.
Maintain proper laboratory records, test reports, and documentation.
Follow laboratory safety, infection-control, and waste-management procedures.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of specimens and laboratory materials.
Assist with troubleshooting of equipment and testing procedures.
Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other laboratory professionals when required.
Mandatory Requirements
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science.
Experience: 3–5 years of relevant laboratory experience.
Practical knowledge of clinical laboratory testing and specimen processing.
Strong understanding of laboratory safety, quality control, and documentation practices.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Nationality Preferred: East European.
