Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Rotating Equipment Inspector to inspect, monitor, and ensure the quality, reliability, and compliance of rotating equipment in oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, and pipeline projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong inspection expertise, sound knowledge of international standards, and hands-on experience with rotating machinery.
Roles & Responsibilities
Conduct inspection of rotating equipment including pumps, compressors, turbines, generators, and motors during installation, maintenance, and commissioning.
Verify compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and applicable international codes.
Perform and review inspections using NDT methods such as MT, PT, UT, VT, and RTFI.
Review engineering drawings, inspection reports, test records, and quality documentation.
Monitor equipment alignment, installation, testing, and operational readiness.
Identify non-conformities, recommend corrective actions, and prepare inspection reports.
Ensure adherence to Quality Management Systems (QMS), safety procedures, and client requirements.
Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure timely completion of inspection activities.
Mandatory Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (relevant discipline) with 4+ years of inspection experience; OR
Two-year Industrial/Technical Diploma with 8+ years of relevant inspection experience in the Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, or Pipeline industry.
Proven experience in the inspection, design, and operation of rotating equipment.
Good knowledge of NDT methods (MT, PT, UT, VT, and RTFI).
Familiarity with international standards, particularly API 686.
Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and inspection procedures.
Valid Saudi Driving Licence (Mandatory).
Local transfer candidates preferred.
