Production Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee day-to-day production activities, ensure smooth shop-floor operations, achieve production targets, and maintain quality, safety, and productivity standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities and manpower allocation.

• Monitor production schedules, output, productivity, and process efficiency.

• Ensure production targets are achieved within the planned timelines.

• Manage shop-floor operators and ensure effective utilization of manpower and machinery.

• Monitor product quality and coordinate with the Quality team to resolve issues.

• Identify production bottlenecks, minimize downtime, and implement corrective actions.

• Ensure adherence to SOPs, work instructions, safety procedures, and 5S standards.

• Maintain production records, reports, and shift-wise documentation.

• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Stores, and other departments for smooth operations.

• Train and guide operators on processes, safety, and productivity standards.

Mandatory Requirements

• BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in production/manufacturing supervision.

• Strong knowledge of shop-floor production processes and manpower handling.

• Willingness to work in a production/shop-floor environment and in shifts, if required.

• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
